About us
In our childhood, we always saw mum making a pot of tea for all the adults after a meal. She would make a pot after dinner and every adult would sit around the table with a small cup of tea in hand chatting and laughing ( the adults called it Kung-Fu tea).
As kids in the countryside, we often followed the adults when they went into the farm field around 10:00 a.m., carrying a huge pot of tea for everyone working in the field. Regardless if the tea was cold in the summer or hot in the winter, we saw everyone stop their work, pass tea to each other, then laugh and joke while they enjoyed the tea together.

At certain times of the year, relatives, family friends and neighbours always came to the house with a pack of tea as a present. The adults would invite guests to taste the tea and they spent a long time talking about the tea, as if every tea pack had its own story.
As years passed, the time came for us to leave our hometown and begin to experience a different lifestyle in the big cities. Yet what remained unchanged, we found out, was the role of tea in people’s lives. No matter where we went, there were always people who would present one-of-a-kind teas for everyone to share.
When I took my very first business trip to a big manufacturer in Southern Taiwan, we needed to get a serious issue settled. Upon arrival at the factory, I was amazed that the meeting started with a tea party. We all sat around a tea-making table. The conversation and atmosphere was warm, while everyone enjoyed a cup of tea. The tea somehow made us all feel more relaxed. Also, it seemed to solidify our relationship. Surprisingly, we left the place with the work accomplished in a pleasant way.
Over the past 10 years drinking tea, visiting tea farms and exchanging tea knowledge, we came to understand how tea has influenced people’s lives in several ways. Good tea creates fine ambiance among people who share its subtle potency. It lifts spirits and brings out pleasant exchanges during conversation. Good tea affects a person's general well-being and health.
How do we identify and select a genuine good tea for our family, friends and even ourselves?
We choose teas with the mission and objectives to:
• benefit people’s health and well-beings
• be environmentally friendly
